
Khaled Al-Siddiq, a Kuwaiti film director and writer. He presented many artistic works, and participated in various fields, including production, photography, and music for some works. Among his feature directorial films are: “But Ya Bahr,” written by Abdul Rahman Al-Saleh, “The Wedding of Zein,” based on the novel by the great Sudanese writer Tayeb Salih, and “Shaheen,” based on the novel by the Italian writer Boccaccio. He worked for Kuwait Television as a director, starting in the engineering department, then he assumed the position of studio director. His first official assignment was in 1964 when the television assigned him to represent him in the Monte Carlo Festival. After his return, he collaborated with Abdul Wahab Sultan, head of the cinema department at Kuwait Television at the time, in establishing a cinematic department through which he presented eight distinctive cinematic and documentary films.
