Hussein Issa Abdel Rahim, known as “Hussein Issa,” was born in 1905. He is a theatrical actor who began working in Imad al-Din theaters and moved between several theater groups. In cinema, directors took advantage of his harsh facial features and assigned him the roles of evil and a gangster, which is a common denominator in most horror roles. Like the movie “I Am the Past” in 1950. The artist Mahmoud El-Meligy participated in forming a film production company called “Silver Star” in the mid-fifties. Among his most famous roles is the role of “Khalifa Othman,” who is accused of killing Riad Pasha, in the movie “People’s Maqamat” in 1954, and the role of “Bakr,” the hero’s friend, in the movie “We Are Humans” in 1955. Hussein Issa died on October 15, 1976.
