Hany Shenouda
Also known as: هاني شنودة
Egyptian composer and arranger. He was born in the city of Tanta, Gharbia Governorate. In 1977, he formed the Al-Masryeen band. He discovered many singing stars, such as Iman Younes (sister of the artist Esaad Younes), Mona Aziz, and Mamdouh Qassem. He was the first to introduce the artist Mohamed Mounir in his first album (Alamoni Aniki). He also discovered the artist Amr Diab and brought him from Port Said to Cairo. He composed soundtracks and melodies for many Egyptian films.
