Hani Salama

Egyptian actor. He studied in Kuwait while his father worked as a media consultant in Kuwait, then moved to Cairo, where he joined the Modern Institute for Computer Science in Maadi. His entry into the world of fame and success was by chance when he applied to the Misr International Film Company, owned by Youssef Chahine, when it announced a request for new faces and several tests were conducted for him in front of the camera. He was nominated for the movie Erg El Balah, but he did not perform. Hani Salama then proposed to the great director Youssef Chahine by chance, and in their first meeting, the great director Youssef Chahine asked Hani if he liked acting. Hani told him that he loved singing more, so Youssef Shaheen asked him to sing any song he wanted, so Hani sang the song “I’m Yours Along” by Abdel Halim Hafez. Youssef Chahine was impressed by his performance and spontaneity. ! He worked with a number of directors, the first of whom was Youssef Shaheen, followed by Tariq Al-Erian, Khaled Youssef, Saad Hindawi and others, and this led to the refinement of his artistic talent.
