Egyptian director, producer, and author. She was born in Cairo in 1967. She studied engineering at the beginning of her life, but she quickly abandoned it and went on to study at the Higher Institute of Cinema and graduated from it in 1992. She began her life as a program director for the Nile Drama Channel, then directed the comedy series (Shabab Online). In 2004, she directed her first film ever, which is the film (The Best Times). In 2006, she won the Best Director Award from the Cairo Film Festival for her second film (Cut and Paste). She directed the film (Nawara) in 2015, which was shown at many film festivals and won many awards in Egypt and abroad.
