Tunis by Night is a Tunisian drama set during a single, pivotal night in the life of Youssef, a veteran radio broadcaster approaching retirement after more than two decades at the national station. When a young man self-immolates somewhere in Sidi Bouzid, Youssef's final broadcast is violently interrupted — and the night only spirals further as a police patrol detains him. Returning home, he finds his family quietly unraveling: his wife Amal retreating into prayer, his daughter Aziza in crisis, his brother Amin struggling to hold the pieces together. A sober, finely observed portrait of a man and a country at a breaking point.
