The Window is a Lebanese drama set one year after the catastrophic Beirut port explosion of August 2020. Basma and Mariam return to the bedroom they once shared, its window still framing the scarred remains of the harbor. Enclosed in that intimate space, the two women attempt to confront the trauma they endured together and repair a relationship fractured by grief and distance. Quiet and emotionally precise, the film uses the confined setting as a crucible for memory, pain, and the possibility of healing — a small-scale story that carries the weight of a city still learning to grieve.
