Overview

The Visitor is a Palestinian film blending drama and the supernatural in the storied streets of Jerusalem. Kareem, whose family has called Jerusalem home for generations, runs a ghost tour company called Holy Ghost Tours with his best friend Elias, spinning tales to credulous tourists. Their greatest attraction is the legend of the mythical Ghouleh — a demon from his grandmother Teta's ancestral village who steals the memories of the living. As the lines between myth and reality begin to blur, the film becomes an evocative meditation on memory, inheritance, and the haunted landscape of Palestinian identity.
