The Art of Moving follows the Syrian video activist collective behind Daya Al-Taseh, an anti-ISIS satirical web series produced from their base in Gaziantep, Turkey. After receiving direct threats from IS supporters, the group relocates to Istanbul with ambitions to evolve their satirical comedy into a polished broadcast show for Syrian audiences. But the path ahead is filled with obstacles — logistical, political, and deeply personal — as the instability of exile strains their friendships and creative work, forcing each member to confront hard choices about their activism and whether a stable life in Istanbul, or anywhere, is truly possible.
