Shalaby is an Egyptian horror-comedy film following Saber, a young man who works at a haunted house attraction in a local amusement park. When Saber realizes his dream of creating a unique marionette puppet he names Shalaby, the doll becomes the centerpiece of an ambitious puppet show that he and his friends and neighbors are preparing in hopes of launching their path to fame. As production gets underway, the group finds themselves swept up in a series of increasingly exciting and comedic situations, blending the world of puppetry and performance with unexpected thrills.
