Overview

Shash fi Qutn is an Egyptian satirical comedy series set inside a private hospital on the Ain Sokhna road, a remote seasonal location that gives the show its distinctive flavor. The hospital is led by the elderly Dr. Hassan Shaker, played by Biyoumi Fouad, a physician returned from France who suffers from Alzheimer's but flatly refuses to acknowledge it, inadvertently dragging the entire staff into chaos. His French-raised son Dr. John, played by Karim Qassem, struggles to decode Egyptian social norms while trying to manage his father. Meanwhile, receptionist nurse Emad (Mostafa Abu Sarea) and ambulance driver MacGafar (Mahmoud El-Laithi) run creative side schemes using hospital resources.
