Overview

Women Catcher is an Egyptian comedy film that offers a satirical take on seduction and redemption. Sharif has long built a reputation as an irresistible womanizer, but when he sets his sights on Zahra, she refuses to fall for his charm. Unable to win her any other way, Sharif resorts to marriage — only to find himself completely outplayed. Zahra devises a cunning plan, convincing her family to deny her very existence whenever Sharif is around, driving him to doubt his own sanity until he suffers a full nervous breakdown. Only from his hospital bed does Zahra finally reveal the game, confirming at last that his feelings are genuine. The film is a witty reversal of the classic romantic comedy cat-and-mouse dynamic.
