Not Just Your Picture is a documentary film about two young German-Palestinian siblings, Ramsis and Layla Kilani, whose lives were shattered in the summer of 2014 when their father Ibrahim, his second wife, and their five young children were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza. Thrust into an accelerated process of political awakening and reconnection with their Palestinian heritage, the siblings embark on a determined quest for justice while confronting a political reality that not only enables such atrocities but actively silences criticism of them.
