Overview

Laqmat Al-Aish is an Arabic social drama centered on Aliwa Rabie Shehab, a young man whose unwavering honesty and integrity set him apart in a world of opportunism. His principled nature catches the eye of a businessman who offers him a job — and his sister Jamila's hand in marriage. After the wedding, Aliwa discovers that Jamila is mute and that her brother has wrongfully seized her share of the family inheritance.
