Overview
Le Convive (The Guest) is a Moroccan social drama centered on Malik, who has been living with his partner Fouad for three years and is about to marry Halima. Fouad, unable to accept a marriage that would upend their shared life, is asked by Malik to promise not to attend the wedding taking place in his parents' village. As the ceremony draws near and family expectations mount, Malik is torn between preserving his image in front of relatives and wedding guests and honoring the relationship that has defined his private life.
