Overview

Le Clair obscur is a North African drama built around an improbable but deeply felt love story between a blind man with an unwavering dream of becoming a television presenter and a young film student. When their paths cross, something unexpected takes root despite the obstacles — personal, social, and circumstantial — that stand against them. The film is a quiet meditation on ambition and vulnerability, on the way love can illuminate lives that the world insists on keeping in the dark. Tender and assured, Le Clair obscur is a moving portrait of two people reaching beyond what they are expected to be.
