Kindy is an Algerian crime thriller following Commissioner Kindy, dispatched from Algiers to investigate a mysterious crime in the coastal city of Jijel. Assisted by the local police, the commissioner navigates an unfamiliar landscape — though Jijel is actually his birthplace, he left as a young child and returns to find a city he barely recognizes. The deeper he digs, the clearer it becomes that Jijel is now divided between two rival clans, turning a police procedural into a complex web of tribal allegiances, old feuds, and buried secrets that complicate every step of the investigation.
