Scarecrow is an Egyptian comedy thriller built around a secret that has been kept for decades. In his youth, an old grandfather stole a rare artistic piece that once belonged to the legendary Egyptian singer Umm Kulthum — an icon whose memorabilia carries enormous sentimental and financial value. Years later, the secret resurfaces and greedy figures begin closing in, determined to claim the precious object at any cost. Now elderly and out of options, the grandfather turns to his only grandchild for help, pulling the young man into a dangerous and increasingly comic chase. A crowd-pleasing blend of humor and suspense, Scarecrow uses the legacy of one of the Arab world's greatest artists as the centerpiece of its madcap plot.
