Overview

Kharet Al-Taghtia is an Arabic social drama series that takes an unflinching look at digital addiction and its corrosive effect on the modern Arab family. Two siblings — Taha, consumed by video games, and Hiba, lost in social media — have retreated so deeply into their screens that genuine family connection has all but vanished. Their mother bears the burden of this absence alone, while the father remains preoccupied and absent. When a shocking incident forces the family to confront the true depth of the children's disconnection, both parents resolve to act — devising a bold and clever intervention to pull their children back from the grip of digital dependency and restore real human bonds within the household.
