Indivision — also known as Birdland — is an experimental film that fuses striking imagery of the natural world with the new creative and communicative possibilities of the internet age. At its centre is Lina, a silent teenage girl who writes keywords and questions all over her body, believing herself to be a superheroine — gifted or cursed — who carries the fate of the entire world in her hands. The film positions Lina as a paradoxical warrior for troubled times: part mystic, part digital native, entirely her own. Far from being nostalgic for a pre-technological world, the film embraces the strange beauty of online culture while asking urgent questions about agency, creativity, and what it means to save the world when the world keeps changing shape.
