Overview
She's Hypertensive and Diabetic But Refuses to Die is a Moroccan comedy built around a web of infidelity, secrets, and blackmail. Hamid juggles a double life between his wife Souad, his mistress Leïla, and his overbearing mother-in-law Hajja, while the household servant Zhor carries on her own clandestine affair. Hamid's loyal fall-guy Brahim keeps the peace — until the day he catches Hamid red-handed and the entire house of cards begins to collapse. A sharp social comedy about the absurdity of keeping secrets in a world where everyone already knows.
