Overview
El Gran Libano is a darkly absurdist drama that opens on Bassem, hungover and disoriented, waking up on the shore of a lake strewn with dead fish. As the strangeness of the situation compounds, the film draws the audience into a web of mystery, unresolved family history, and dark comedy. A film that revels in the unsettling and the unexplained.
