Reporters from Nushatta, risking their freedom to report the truth, managed to enter the Bou Craa phosphate mine located southeast of El-Aaiùn — one of the most lucrative mining operations in the region. Accompanied by Sahrawi residents from the area, the film documents Morocco's accelerated extraction of the territory's resources while the indigenous population receives no share of the profits generated on their ancestral land. Blunt and courageous, Bou Craa is a rare ground-level account of economic exploitation under occupation.
