Overview

A Hero From This Time is a drama series with comic undertones following a poor man consumed by dreams of wealth. After a vivid dream convinces him he knows the location of a buried treasure that could transform his fortunes overnight, he embarks on a nightly ritual: slipping out into deserted areas under cover of darkness to dig for what he believes awaits him beneath the earth. He returns each dawn exhausted but unbroken, sustained by a hope that borders on obsession, in a tragicomic portrait of a man chasing a dream that the world cannot quite take seriously — even as he stakes everything on it.
