Overview

Pashawat Akher Zaman (Last Era Pashas) is an Arabic drama series set in the aftermath of the fall of Baghdad, when the collapse of order opened Iraq's museums and archaeological sites to looters and criminal gangs. The story follows Abboud, who steals a cache of valuable antiquities and finds himself pursued by Lamis and Haroun after they learn of his theft — only to escape and sell the artifacts without ever grasping their true historical worth. The series uses the chaos of this pivotal historical moment to explore the rise of a new class of opportunists and fake power-brokers, examining greed, cultural heritage, and the human cost of societal collapse.
