Overview

Listen — اسمعي — is a Lebanese romantic drama set against the backdrop of a war-torn country barely holding together. Joud, a talented young sound engineer, falls deeply in love with Rana, a spirited and independent woman from a different social and religious background. Their relationship is torn apart by a sudden and devastating accident that leaves Rana unreachable, with her family forbidding Joud from seeing her. Refusing to give up, Joud devises a creative and emotionally resonant solution — secretly passing voice messages to Rana through her sister Marwa, hoping the power of sound and memory will bridge the impossible distance between them.
