Overview

Actor Milad Youssef embodied the character of Tariq, who struggles with an overwhelming feeling of anxiety, pain, and fear, and involves “a high dose of suspense, excitement, and mystery alike,” as he told Al-Sharq. Youssef prefers to call the series “Revenge of Death” “especially since the events link two parallel and interconnected worlds through the connection between people on both sides,” noting that the work is “social-psychological, examining human beings in a very intelligent and profound way, and in need of focus.” He added: "Tariq's psychological motivations in the series are based on a huge loss in his life, in addition to other feelings such as guilt and an attempt to purify himself." He expressed his happiness at returning to work under the direction of director Seif El-Din Subaie after distinguished experiences with him in “Heavenly Space” and “On Fear and Isolation,” saying, “He has an expertise in social dramas by showing characters in their full details.” He also noted his satisfaction with working with the production company, which sought to “secure good and appropriate conditions to produce a different series on the artistic and production levels, and tried to draw the features of a special location for filming, from building the first stone in it to the last accessory,” according to what he said.
