Overview

Difficult Time is a Gulf thriller drama set in the tumultuous aftermath of the Kuwait-Iraq war. Jalal returns from abroad to find his home empty and his wife Raifa abducted — along with their mute daughter — by men who falsely claimed to be his relatives. When he rushes to the police station, Officer Abu Hussein proves indifferent to his plight, leaving Jalal with no institutional support. Determined and desperate, he launches a one-man search to locate his family, uncover the truth behind the abduction, and bring the perpetrators to justice himself. The film is a tense exploration of paternal love, institutional failure, and the lengths a man will go to protect what is his.
