Overview

Abu Haila is a social drama centered on its eponymous protagonist, a rigid and opinionated man who makes a habit of imposing his views on everyone around him. His stubborn certainty, however, has a way of colliding with reality: every decision he is convinced is right turns out to be wrong, and the unexpected consequences pile up around him. The series follows Abu Haila through a succession of dramatic and social situations, each one illuminating the stubbornness of a man unwilling to learn from his own repeated mistakes. It is a character study of conviction untempered by wisdom.
