Overview

Atef is a short Arabic drama film built around a chance encounter: a man and a woman find themselves sheltering together from the rain, thrown into an unplanned conversation that neither expected. What unfolds between them is deceptively simple — small talk that gradually reveals deeper currents of emotion and possibility. A quietly affecting short film, Atef captures the fragile, fleeting nature of human connection and the way that ordinary moments can open unexpected doors. A reminder that life-changing surprises often arrive without announcement.
