Overview
Chronic (Aa Shafir) is a Lebanese art-house drama set almost entirely within the intimate walls of a Beirut photography studio. Omar, a photographer haunted by a deeply personal encounter with death, attempts to channel that experience into a bold new creative project — staging three distinct photo sessions in a single day, each with a different subject chosen through a casting process. Between the studio's walls, bodies become the medium through which stories of sex, love, and trauma are expressed and examined.
