Youssef Sharaf Aldin

Youssef Sharaf El-Din began his artistic career as an assistant director in 1965 in many joint Lebanese and Egyptian films. His upbringing in an artistic family had a great impact on his professional life. His brother is the actor Fouad Sharaf El-Din, and his sister is Joumana Sharaf El-Din. Youssef Sharaf El-Din moved to directing in 1980 in Lebanon, where he made many successful action films, then he immigrated to Cairo in 1986 to direct many successful films there with the participation of major stars. He then turned to television work, where he directed dozens of successful series produced jointly by Egyptian, Egyptian-Syrian, and Egyptian-Lebanese. Married to Egyptian artist Safaa Maghribi.
