Youssef El Sherif

An Egyptian actor, whose real name is Mohamed Ismail Naji, and his name was changed to Youssef El-Sherif in agreement with director Sherif Sabry when preparing for the movie (7 Cards of Playing Cards). He was born in Cairo, and graduated from the Mechanics Department at the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University in 2002. He started out in the movie (7 Cards of Cards) with Ruby, then he participated in the movie (Open Your Eyes) in the role of a police officer with Mustafa Shaaban, and the movie (The End of the World) with the star Nelly Karim, then the movie (She is Chaos), which is the last work of the late director Youssef Chahine. Youssef got his first absolute starring role in his movie (The International), in which he achieved great success and played the role of Malik, the football player who dreams of becoming a professional.
