A Syrian producer, born in Damascus, Mezzeh district, in 1926. His relationship with cinema began in the late 1940s and early 1950s, when he was a cinema exhibitor, then he worked as a film distributor in Syria, specifically a distributor of films by the artist Anwar Wagdy. Then he moved to film production, starting in Egypt, where he produced a film entitled (My Mother and I) starring Rushdi Abaza and Tahia Karioka and directed by Mr. Badir, which was the film that was shown in Syria in 1958. Among his most important works are the films (Gram in Istanbul, Lulu’s Contract, and Tailor for Ladies). Tahseen established the Film and Television Industry Committee, and began thinking about working in the field of drama, and here cooperation arose between him and Duraid Lahham in selling and distributing his plays, such as (Anemone, The Happy Bird, and The Rain Maker). They also cooperated to work together in distributing the series (Abu Al-Hana).
