A Lebanese actress, who arrived in Cairo in the 1950s, after spending her childhood in the United States of America. During her time in Egypt, Silvana participated in five films, most of which she played supporting roles such as the role of a flirtatious girl or the role of a foreign maid. Her first film, The Path to Happiness, was directed by Kamel El-Hafnawy in 1953, starring Kamal El-Shenawy and Zahra El-Ola. She left Egypt in the early seventies for her home country, Lebanon, where in 1971 she made her last film, which was the Lebanese/Egyptian film “The Lost,” directed by singer Mohamed Salman and starring Rushdi Abaza and Samira Ahmed. After a few years in Beirut, the Lebanese civil war forced her to leave Lebanon and return to the United States.
