
An Egyptian director and producer, he studied at the French Lycee Liberty School, graduated from the Faculty of Social Service in Helwan, and then switched to studying directing at the Higher Institute of Cinema. He began his artistic career as an assistant director on children’s programs on Egyptian television, and after that he worked as an assistant director with several directors, including the late Youssef Chahine. In 1999, Mandour directed his first work, the comedy series (What Are You Doing?) for young actors at that time, Mohamed Henedy, Alaa Wali El Din, and Alaa Morsi. Then he turned to cinema through His first film (Ho Fih Eh) starring Ahmed Adam and Mohamed Fouad. Mandour also produced several films, including “Ain Shams” by director Ibrahim El Batout.
