An Egyptian author who began writing short stories at an early age. He joined the Reda Folklore Troupe as a dancer after graduating from the College of Commerce. He wrote his first play, “Kafr Qassem,” in 1970, and it was shown on a balloon stage. After that, he and Lotfi El-Zeini presented a number of television plays that were shown and filmed in Tunisia. In 1981, he presented his first work to cinema, “Forgery in Official Papers,” directed by Yahya Al-Alami. After that, he wrote a number of films, including “Peace, My Friend,” “Underwater Hell,” directed by Nader Jalal, “131 Works,” “Cheap Meat,” “Mushrooms,” and others. But in recent years, he began to focus on television works and presented a number of series, including “Goodbye, My Son,” “Warning,” “Journey 83,” “Abbasiya Wahed,” and “Taqab and Ihdraj.”
