Safia Helmy

A dancer who worked in Badia Masabni’s halls, and delivered monologues in many films. When taxes increased on Badia Masabni, she fled to Lebanon and the ownership of the casino passed to Safia Helmy, who in turn founded a performing group, and the musician Mohamed Al-Moji worked with her for a period before he became independent and worked alone. Her works include the film The Fifth Groom , the film Love Story , the film My Daughter , the film Scheherazade , and the film Girls of the Sea .
