
An Iraqi actress, born on August 18, 1983 in Baghdad. She lived in northern Iraq during her childhood and is of Kurdish origins. She is the only daughter in her family and has one brother. Her father died when she was 9 years old. The artist Naglaa Fahmy studied at the Institute of Fine Arts, Department of Theater, in 1999. She began her artistic career by appearing in a historical drama directed by the Iraqi director Qahtan Abdel Jalil, She is the Pen and the Tribulation, written by Farouk Muhammad. Then she took to the stage in the same year 1999 through the play Kalash Al Abdel Al, directed by Imran Al Tamimi. She had her first experience presenting programs through the Studio 2000 program directed by Adnan Hadi in 2000, and from here her artistic career began.
