
An Egyptian musician, born in the village of Meet Abu Al-Ezz, Kafr El-Zayat Center. He holds a diploma from the Higher Industrial Institute in Tanta, and joined the Royal Guard during the reign of Sultan Hussein Kamel. Then he worked as a musician in the foreign bands that were spread in Cairo, and in the performing groups that came to Egypt in the choral and opera theatres. He studied music under the musician (Bakho), the head of the Rai music band at that time. He then completed his musical studies at the “Abergeret” Institute in Cairo, obtained his higher diploma, and was appointed as a music teacher at the Industrial Institute. In Damanhour. In 1939, he was appointed inspector of music at the Ministry of Education, then general inspector of musical activity in the same ministry. He was appointed to Egyptian Radio on 1/7/1955 as a technical advisor for music and singing, then he was appointed head of the Singing Listening Committee. The musician Muhammad Hassan Al-Shuja'i is credited with forming the "Radio Orchestra" and performing many Western and Arabic compositions. He participated in establishing the Egyptian Lyric Theater Syndicate in its golden era, as he re-recorded operettas by Sayed Darwish, Ibrahim Fawzi, Kamel Al-Khalai, Daoud Hosni, and others. He taught music appreciation at the Popular University and the Institute of Dramatic Arts. Among his most famous musical works are: - Land of the Homeland - Saladin - Akhenaten - Valley of the Kings. His activity extended to cinema since it was silent. The number of films for which he composed soundtracks reached 46, the most famous of which were: “Dinars - Aida - Salama Fi Khair - Si Omar - The Wives Factory - Love and Revenge - Antar and Abla - Romeo and Juliet - Friday Night.”
