Ismail Abdel Majeed began his work on Egyptian radio as a broadcaster, including the one responsible for Umm Kulthum’s concerts, then presenter of programs (On the Corner / What the listeners ask for / From every film, a song). He was one of the founders of the Egyptian radio. He then headed to radio directing and then to film directing. He did not complete the journey with that, as he was called to organize programs and revive Saudi radio, and after completing what was required of him, he returned to Egypt to work for Egyptian television to create and manage a station. Aswan TV returned to Cairo as responsible for censoring everything shown on screen. During all these periods, film directors needed a face that was always suitable for the roles of foreigners on the screen, and he was the best person to play such roles, as well as the roles of senior officials in the government. His works include the film Black Panther, Ascension to the Abyss, some series, and the One Thousand and One Nights series.
