Ghina Abboud is a Lebanese filmmaker. She has directed five independent short films: Musca, Light, ROBERT!, Permission, and Youssef. Her first feature documentary, Until We Rest, was produced by Al Jazeera Documentaries. She is currently editing Aarsal, Throne of God and Lilies of the Field. She also co-created the web series Ana Beirut and the feature film Home Bitter Home. In addition to filmmaking, she has acting experience in theatre, films, and music videos, including L’Heure de Loup (Mounir Abi Debs), Hometown (Metahaven), and Mashrou' Leila’s Aoede. Last year, she had her first theatre experience through Zoukak Theatre Mentorship Program, where she wrote and directed her first play, Souad’s Party. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Theatre at the Saint Joseph University of Beirut.
