He studied in Barzeh schools and high schools in Damascus and was one of the students of the founding class at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, Department of Acting, where he graduated in 1981. He worked there as a teaching assistant until 1986, when he traveled to Britain to complete his graduate studies and obtained a postgraduate certificate in actor training and preparation from (Rose Brufield College of Speech and Acting) in London and a master’s degree in theatrical directing from the University of Leeds. He then returned to Damascus in 1988 to begin his work at the Theater Institute. As a coach and in theaters, as a director and actor until now.
