Abdel Aziz Mekwi

Egyptian actor, born in 1934, holds a Bachelor of Theater Arts in 1954. He is fluent in many languages, including English, French, and Russian. He knew the audience when he starred in the play (Food for Every Mouth) by Tawfiq Al-Hakim, which was broadcast on television in the early sixties. His peak of brilliance was in the role of the fighter (Ali Taha) in Naguib Mahfouz’s masterpiece (Cairo 30) directed by Salah Abu Seif in 1966. Then he turned to television to participate in many series, including: (Al-Munira, Egyptian Papers, and Al-Sakia).
