Overview

Reverberations is a Lebanese documentary made thirty years after the end of the civil war (1975–1991), in which a filmmaker turns the camera on her own family to explore the war's lasting psychological toll. Through intimate conversations with her mother, she excavates decades of silence and suppressed trauma, mapping the personal reverberations of a national catastrophe that an entire generation was never given language to process.
