Thirty, is a 2008 Saudi movie, directed by Fadhel Jaziri, and starring Ali Jaziri, Maher El Hefidhi. Walid Nahdi.
Thirty is a Tunisian historical drama set between 1924 and 1934, tracing the intertwined lives of three young friends who became towering figures in modern Tunisian history. Mhamed Ali El Hammi founded the country's first trade union; Tahar Haddad fought passionately for human rights and women's emancipation, pioneering the reforms that would later form the Tunisian Family Code; and Belgacem Chebbi revolutionized Arabic poetry with new rhythms, imagery, and a searching examination of the poet's social role. All three blazed with vision and commitment — and all three met tragic fates amid a climate of general indifference. A sweeping portrait of sacrifice, intellect, and the cost of being ahead of one's time.
