Overview
On Borrowed Time is a feel-good Emirati comedy about aging, friendship, and unexpected reinvention. Set in and around a Dubai retirement home, the film follows four elderly men apparently resigned to a quiet existence — until one of them receives a massive and surprising inheritance that upends everything. Directed by Yasir Al Yasir, whose previous film Murk Light earned him the Best Short Narrative Award at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival, the film is a warm celebration of life at any age.
