The Sons of the Lord is an Algerian thriller centered on Dr. Hafnaoui, a medical examiner who has long falsified autopsy records on behalf of a powerful and shadowy organization. He navigates this dangerous moral compromise routinely — until the day a case file lands on his desk that makes the corruption deeply personal. The shock of recognizing the body before him forces Hafnaoui into an existential reckoning with the choices he has made and the system he has served. The film builds its tension around complicity, fate, and what it costs a man when the machinery of corruption finally turns on him.
