Overview
Qate' Sahn is an Egyptian comedy film following three women — Rasha, Hind, and Gamalat — who work grueling fifteen-hour shifts at a café for meager, unchanged wages. Meanwhile, Karim and Fayez desperately search for employment in a city that seems to have no place for them. When Fayez catches a break working for the wealthy Ihsan Bey, he is asked to perform a fictional impersonation, but as he digs deeper into the role, he uncovers a shocking antiquities smuggling operation. The film blends sharp social commentary with comedy, shining a light on Egypt's working poor and the corrupt networks that exploit their desperation.
