Overview

Nécrose is an avant-garde Lebanese film that takes viewers on a disorienting cosmic odyssey through a post-human vision of Beirut. The film follows two souls trapped in an underground purgatory, where the boundaries between reality and nightmare, life and death, erode into a hallucinatory continuum. Formally daring and narratively unconventional, Nécrose uses the scarred landscape of post-catastrophe Beirut as a backdrop for profound existential meditation, blurring genre lines between horror, surrealism, and philosophical cinema in a work that defies easy categorization.
